SabaFon has made the communication even more affordable and available as now
you (postpaid user) can roam around the world with SabaFon roaming partners over
SMS and can remain in touch with your family, friends and colleagues.
SMS only Roaming service allows all SabaFon postpaid subscribers to receive
and send only SMS messages while roaming without any security deposit.
SMS only Roaming on-demand roaming service and you do not need to visit SabaFon
to activate this service.
How to subscribe?
(Please make sure to cancel all call diverts before requesting this service).
There are three ways through which you can activate SMS Roaming:
- You can send SMS to 333 with SRON command for activating the service and SROFF for deactivating the service.
- You can call also 211 to request SMS Roaming.
- You can also log on to http://www.sabafon.com/IR/smsroaming.asp to subscribe.
Please note that with SMS Roaming service activated on your number, you will
not be able to make any Voice, FAX or Data calls. Thus it is highly recommended
that you request SMS Roaming service just before your departure from Yemen
(out of SabaFon GSM coverage). Remember once you are out of SabaFon coverage
(i.e. in any other country) you will not be able to send request for SMS Roaming
activation.
To subscribe to SMS Roaming service from web site you will be required to enter
your Father’s name, your National ID number, Date of birth and Customer
number (8 digits) printed on top left corner of the monthly bill.
