MMS News from AL-Jazeera
MMS News from AL-Jazeera Network will provide SabaFons’ subscribers with a variety of updated News in MMS format. Each MMS message will contain an image part and text part.
How to subscribe
- Compose a new SMS and send Aljazeera to the number 2266
- After that you may send the word MMS to the short number 2255 to register your subscription
- Once the message is sent, subscriber will be registered to receive MMS news from AL-Jazeera Network
- To stop receiving MMS from AL-Jazeera, send STOP to 2288
note
- MMS configuration on subscriber’s handset must be done to be able to receive MMS news
- MMS News is to be sent whenever a breaking news event happens.
- Monthly subscription of 750 YER will be deducted once a message is sent to the number 2255.
- Service is available in Arabic and English
SMS News from AL-Jazeera
SMS News from AL-Jazeera Network will provide SabaFons’ subscribers with a variety of daily updated News in SMS format. There are four different categories from which SabaFons’ subscribers can choose; categories are:
- Breaking News.
- Political News.
- Financial News.
- Sport News.
How to subscribe
Compose a new SMS and send Aljazeera to the number 2266
After that you may send the command of the category you want to subscribe in to the short number 2244. Commands are:
- E1 to subscribe in Breaking News e.g. send only E1 to the number 2244
- To stop receiving Breaking news from AL-Jazeera, send S1 to 2277
- E2 to subscribe in Political News e.g. send only E2 to the number 2244
- To stop receiving Political news from AL-Jazeera, send S2 to 2277
- E3 to subscribe in Financial News e.g. send only E3 to the number 2244
- To stop receiving financial news from AL-Jazeera, send S3 to 2277
- E4 to subscribe in Sport News e.g. send only E4 to the number 2244
- To stop receiving Sport news from AL-Jazeera, send S4 to 2277
Once the message is sent, subscriber will be registered to receive daily SMS news from AL-Jazeera Network on the category he/she sent its command
To get one News SMS without subscription, just send the category command to the number 2233. Message cost 10 YER
Note
- SMS news messages are sent whenever a news event happens.
- Monthly subscription of 395 YER will be deducted once a message is sent to the number 2244 for any category.
- All above services are available in Arabic and English
